A Rasin in the Sun (movie)

Now that I have read and seen the story  A Raisin in the Sun I think the movie was better and the characters fit in the movie perfectly. While I was watching the movie I can remember every detail that was said in the book happened in the movie. I think the one actor that best played the character was Walter Lee. All the character fit in great but  Walter was the best. My favorite part of the play was when the money came home and everyone was happy. I also liked the part when they go into the new house that they bought and are already imaging how there going to fixes it.The set was exactly how I imagined it. The apartment,the new house,Beneatha dressed up silly everything I really enjoyed this play and movie.

$100.000

Back in the days $10.000 was alot of money for the people back then,that wa almost considered rich. Now a day it's hard to get moey, but if I were to have $100.000 I would use that money to buy myself a house. Or I would use that money to help myself go to Standford University my school dream and fom there just continue with my life. What I would do with that money to is I would help out people who have cancer. $100.000 is alot of money, enough to help a child beat this desease. Also I can help out my little brother and sister. That way my parents won''t have to worre about how they would be able to pay for there college schoo dream. If they decide not to go to colege well I'll give them half of the money so they can do what ever thye please. If I had $100.000 this is What I would do.

A Raisin in the Sun

        The novel ''A Raisin in the Sun'' is a really interesting poem. So far I have enjoyed all the characters in this book especially mama. Mama is a strong, hard working women who cares for her family, is a dreamer, and can be a little over protective. In a way I can compare myself to mama because I an very over protective of my family even though if its the littlest things. I am not a mom but when it comes to my little brother and sisters I act like if I was there mother.
     I can also compare myself to Beneatha. Beneatha is a sister who her dream is to become a doctor. That is my dream too. To one day become a doctor and help out people in need. I love this book I can compare myself to some of these characters and I will recommend this book to some of my friends out there.

Dogs

Have you ever notice that dogs are really helpful to the human society, like for examples a blind person need a watch dog so that the dog can show were its going or helping him/her cross the street. Or like police dogs these  smart ,brave dogs help the police catch the wanted person or even protect the police. Farm dog is a perfect example to they help the farmers by chasing  the sheep's to there place. Lastly a dog can be just the perfect family pet just to give it an extra family member in the family so that the kids/adult can have a pal to hang out with and laugh. Dogs are really important to us as we are important to them. 

This first semester was really great for me. I met new friends and learned a lot more things this semester in English 11 with Ms. Thomas. i really didn't like reading books at first well because it was to boring and i really didn't understand what I was reading,but ever since I read the novel the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain I learned a new way of understanding book it's call the 321 theme. For every chapter we have to wright 3 vocab and find the meaning of  it ,2 questions about that chapter and 1 mini summary about that chapter that way I can understand the book little by little. There's many more thing on how to identifies a poem and the strategies the author uses it really interesting so thanks Ms.Thomas for every thing.

  Hey there my name is Laura Cervantes, I'm 17 years old and what's important to me is my family. To me my family always comes first know matter what.
  My family is the reason why I have accomplished some of my goals in life. My family is also important to me because when I need a shoulder to cry on or just need a smile to make my day I  know who I can go to, there's nothing like family. My family is my inspiration, my family is my motivation they are my guardian angel who I can talk to and will always be protecting me from the bad.
  Family are always good for ed vice when I need to know how to solve a problem or just to give you heads up in the world.So you see my family is my life and i am blessed to have them here with me always and forever.
